Awareness Skills 

Programmes that are designed to stop you smoking, stop drinking, eradicate anger, change your personality for the better and so on, usually work for a while and then loose their affect. We eventually loose the energy to apply a set of rules that have not come from our own personality. Awareness is momentary; it is who you feel you are in the moment and it changes continually. Awareness skills connect to your momentary awareness of what is happening now, and how to use that awareness for your own benefit and for others. In this page you will find ways to enhance your awareness further and to use it skillfully in various life situations.
 
The first course teaches interventions in conflict and how to become skillful and fluid in tense situations. The second - a published book - shows how to follow yourself internally, creating altered states of consciousness as found in shamanism and in some psychiatric states. The book, described more fully below, also shows how to interact with the internal dynamics underlying illnesses such as cancer and to work towards inner freedom.
