Approaching the Wisdom of Relationships
3/4/5 September 2010 (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday)
New Mills, High Peak, Derbyshire
Whether enhancing a successful relationship or rejuvenating an ailing one, there is no doubt that having a few dynamic tools to hand can stop the endless cycling, and help to penetrate the layers and habits that develop over time.
This weekend is designed for those who work with themselves and/or others, (all are welcome – singles or couples, whether attending on your own or as a couple) and who are interested in a mix of experiential work and an exploration of the theoretical underpinning of a process oriented approach to relationships.
What do you feel you are good at in relationship? What do you avoid?
Relationships: having/losing them, keeping them alive, giving them space
Affairs and 3rd parties
Dependence, independence, commitment
Intimacy – sexual, physical and emotional
Patterns and recurring issues; addressing areas of difficulty
Doing conflict well: do you suffer from too much, too little, cycling, avoiding
High dreams and low dreams
Expectations of yourself and one another
Dealing with criticism – giving and receiving
We will look at the tools and feeling qualities used including:
Identifying and intervening with relationship edges
Underlying dreaming processes
Relationship myths
Working with roles
Cost: £210, £185 if £50 deposit is received before July1st
